- Choose your action:
- Simulate Current Lineup: Tests your current batting order through thousands of simulated games.
- Optimize Lineup: Tests all 362,880 possible lineup combinations to find the optimal batting order.
How It Works
- Player statistics are used to assign probabilities to each possible outcome of a plate appearance.
- Thousands of games are simulated to calculate the average runs scored.
- When optimizing, all possible lineups are evaluated to find the one that scores the most runs.
Tip: For best results, adjust statistics based on how you expect players to perform in the future, especially if the number of plate appearances is relatively small.
